Acting so as not to prejudice the outcome of a trial by not naming individuals, who might be protected by the law.
The news story that discusses John Fenty, meant that we could not include any unreliable information about the person. This would go against the Legal and Ethical Issues while broadcasting our radio show and its content.
The article about the Arctic weather bomb could also not discuss any information about the weather that was not true and could cause distress to people. For example if we had exaggerated the effects of the storm and caused panic that is not necessarily certain.
The news article we discussed considering the man who was victim to an attack was named, however we made sure not to release any further details that could invade the victims privacy.
